Promises are one of God’s love languages. He uses promises to captivate us and teach us to trust Him. Promises carry hope. They carry a fresh outpouring for the future.
When God plants you, it initiates a season of growing. You are planted firmly in His presence and in His garden.
Soil and water have to be present for a plant to take root. The soil is Holy Spirit, the water is Jesus and Papa God is the gardener. Holy Spirit is the comforter- He is soft and gentle but He also meets our needs while giving us room to grow. When we build relationship with Jesus and the Godhead, we are receiving the water and everything good from them. Papa God is the sustainer of our growth. He weeds our hearts and plants in new truth for us to discover.
He places you exactly where you need to be in His garden. This is where you will fully grow and flourish. He tenderly cares for His garden and spends time admiring each stem and bud. The world notices the centimeter you have grown this week. In His eyes, you have grown a foot.
Papa’s garden is endless. His garden is full of light. While the plants are in the process of becoming rooted- He speaks to us. He tells us the great things He has planned for us to do in this world- before we are even alive. He speaks identity and wonder into each and everyone of us before we can accept Him.
That is the God of the universe. Oh, how He loves His garden. He yearns to watch His children grow.
