Our life is a journey learning to trust. It starts on the ground learning to walk in our Fathers footsteps, learning to listen to his voice. But then, when we are ready he will take us to a lake.
Each rock is a step of faith. Will you trust that he is continuing to lead you?
He had placed each rock only as far as he knows you can make it. He doesn’t place it too far where he thinks you won’t make it. They are perfectly positioned for your promotion. He won’t take you so far and then leave you without a place to stand.
He always finishes what he has begun. He created you and gave you an amazing purpose. He will not leave you alone. He will finish what he started in you! If you slip don’t worry he is there to catch you and put you back right where you fell. He knows it’s a process.
He knows it can be hard for us to trust. It takes a while to learn to walk. But our God is not intimidated or gets frustrated by the length of our journey, or the time it takes. He is ecstatic with each step we take. Each baby step or giant leap, he is proud! He is a proud father. Every day we wake up he says “There is my daughter! That is my son!”
There is no fear in this love. In the eyes of our proud father there is only love. When fear creeps in while on this journey, look into his eyes. Fear has to leave.
There might be a place in front of you the gap might seem too big. Don’t doubt. Ask God what he wants you to learn. Is it to wait for his timing? For you to learn to walk on the water? To trust God by having him carry you?
Remember he would not bring you this far to leave you alone. His is there to hold you, carry you, encourage you, strengthen you, and empower you to be able to be everything you are created to be every step of the way.

We are all created for greatness. We have heard this before, so, let’s make it more personal.
YOU are created for greatness. Not only that, but the greatness has been packed into you from the beginning of time and it never leaves. It is never lost because you have done something you shouldn’t have. It isn’t reduced due to the mistakes made or what your past holds. It is always there and the things in your life that seem like setbacks and limitations are only launching points in your life.
Your past doesn’t disqualify you, it rather is a bigger invitation for the great grace of God to come and make a something out of the ashes of our lives if we let him.
Moses was a murderer but with God became the savior of Israel. David was an adulteress but because of God’s favor he became one of the great kings of Israel and was a man after God’s heart. Paul killed thousands of Christians but through one encounter with Father God, he became one of the biggest evangelists that wrote more than two-thirds of the New testament.
The bigger the problem, the more amazing the answer. The harder the situation, the more miraculous the solution. There is no hole that our God won’t go in to get you back where he has always seen you, right next to him in heaven.
The God we serve has all the power of the universe and even more than we could imagine. This is put inside of us as children of Him.
We are no longer pawns in a game of chess. We are not weak, we are the most powerful pieces on the board. We can go anywhere and knock over the lies of the enemy. Not only that but we have the power to break off the fears in our lives that hold us back. Don’t let the mistakes and lies keep you back any longer. You have the power to take them out of the game! So do it! Knock them over! You have the power to do it and your Father will be right beside you and you can say ‘Check mate’ to the fear! They have no power anymore!
You are royal - worthy of the Kingdom and crowned with authority. No enemy can stand against you - you are His!
Life isn’t perfect and neither are we. Throughout life we have our great amazing times and some hard, sometimes painful things that we don’t want to remember so we shove down the feelings. But little do we know each time we shove down emotions and hurts our hearts break into pieces, each time a little more.
No matter how broken your heart may be, there is always a way to becoming whole again. God has made us whole, but sometimes it takes us a little to feel that way. It’s a journey, but one always worth taking.
Papa God was always there and will continue to be there. In the great and enjoyable times and the hard times, God is always there. He is there encouraging us, speaking life, and keeping us safe.
The voice of the accuser tries to bring guilt, shame, fear and try to force feed us these lies through present situations and our past. But with our Father, our past is gone, it has been erased.
We have to remember that our past is erased, mistakes are forgotten, and our willful sins are completely forgiven. That means gone, no more, never existed! This is hard for us to grasp but it’s the truth. Jesus didn’t die so that all of our sins and mistakes could still be held on a ledger later to be read back to us again. That ledger had been shredded, and then disintegrated. GONE! Sometimes the hardest part is forgiving, not only others but ourselves.
When situations occur that cause us pain we were never meant to deal with them alone. We always have a heavenly father that listens and brings life and love into each place of our fragile hearts. Our heavenly father gave us his Holy Spirit to help comfort us, not only that but he gave us a family. Whether its blood or spiritual, they are there specifically to help us overcome. Because with each hurt or obstacle that comes our way is a time we get to love, to rise higher, to grow closer to those around us and more importantly our Papa God.
We are empowered to live a life of wholeness. A life where we live knowing that we have everything we need and nothing is holding us back. It’s time to forgive, to let go of the past and grab hold of the amazing future that is in store for you.
