Just imagine the beginning of time. The moment even before it was all created, just you and God, watching the next sequence of events unfold…
Out of the darkness comes a sound, words coming from the void. All of a sudden things begin to appear, stars, planets, and galaxies. Then earth comes to life with a simple word from the creators’ mouth. He then begins to create the land, sea and animals.
But then he stops. Stops and thinks.
He begins to shape something out of the dirt, he smiles as his creation comes into form. Once he sees its almost finished he opens his mouth as though to speak.
But out of his mouth doesn’t come the mighty powerful voice that was used to make the stars, not the booming voice that made the galaxies spin… No, rather a sweet song begins to come out. As he sings, his creation comes to life and starts to dance to the sweet melody that fills the air.
As his creation continues to dance, you recognize that his creation is YOU. You watch as you dance and twirl. But then you hear another voice, singing a different song but is flawless as it blends with the first.
Ask Papa God where the voice is coming from…
You. It’s coming from you! It’s your love song, your life’s song that is sung back to the master creator, to your father.
Our lives are not a mundane day to day walk that never changes. Our lives are songs that are sung that harmonize not only with those who are around us but link perfectly with the song that has been sung over us since the beginning of time. God’s song over you will never stop, never fade, and never change. It is a love song that is specific to you, it created you to be just how you are. Each vibration of his song beats with your heart and soul linking you back up with all of what Papa God says about you.
Where do you keep your dreams? Are they written out, placed in front of you? Do you think about them throughout the day, weeks, months after you had them? Or are they locked away, unremembered and forgotten due to the more ‘important’ things in our life.
Nowadays dreams have become ideas, thoughts that stay inside our minds. Wishful aspirations that don’t come out of our box unless asked, and even still can’t be remembered.
Dreams used to lead our young minds to think big, see the future and what can be. Brought us beyond our reality and into a new world, one without borders. Try and remember a dream you had that brought so much joy to you.
For me it was wanting to be a vet or doctor when I would grow up. And sometimes I would imagine myself and all my imaginary animal friends for years. It always made life fun and it had no limits of reality.
But when did our imagination stop? When did we stop dreaming? Is it when we hit the wall of reality and got shaken back to earth?
Our lives as children of God was never meant to live in mere reality, lived within the box of what is possible. Our imagination was given to us so our Creator could communicate, co-create and show us the things unseen at any point of our day. Just because we live in reality, it was never meant for us to be limited by it. We are made to take what we see in the unseen realm and be able to bring it down into the reality of this world.
You never lost your imagination. You didn’t get rid of your dreams, they are just hiding under the surface ready to be awakened.
One touch from Papa God brings to life all dreams buried, all imagination if you let it. Its never too late to let your imagination run wild. God can make your dreams come to life in a moment.
Our imagination was given to us to go explore, dream, think bigger than what we see, to build a world with you and God! Ask God today for him to touch you and bring those dreams back to life again.
There is always that point in life where things simply… FIT.
There is no explanation needed, the evidence is obvious.
This is how our life works. It started first when you came into the world. There was another piece to earth’s puzzle that just was brought in.
It might feel like you don’t fit, that you don’t belong. The enemy might even tell you lies like “you don’t belong anywhere”, “no one cares about you”. But just because you feel like you don’t fit in that place doesn’t mean that you weren’t made for this puzzle. It doesn’t mean that you aren’t made for the world. You were and are created for a purpose, a place in this puzzle.
You might be an edge piece. You might be the edge piece, the first piece that begins to connect both sides, or the last pieces that finishes the puzzle. Whatever piece you are each has a purpose: You are the piece that is linking other that brings out the beautiful finish.
We all know the horrifying feeling getting to the end of a puzzle and you can’t find a piece. You search high and low, under things all around until you find it. Our puzzle, life’s puzzle, the world’s puzzle is incomplete without you. It will never be whole, never be finished without you in it, being exactly who you are made to be.
Let me say this again, without YOU, the pieces are incomplete. Go and be exactly who God has designed you to be, be you!
Choices are always around us. Some are easy and some not so much.
Imagine the most difficult decision you have ever made. Were you filled with shame or doubt that you possibly had made the wrong decision? These choices usually feel difficult and at times painful because we feel alone when you have to make those types of decisions. But the best reminder is to know that we are never alone making decisions. We have those who are close to us, but most importantly God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit to help us with these choices that come up.
Papa God is the one who gave the first option to choose. To give the option to choose shows how God loves our opinion and our input. Think about that, God wants to know what we think but also gives us the opportunity to act on it. God celebrates every choice that you have made. Even the tough and overbearing choices have God’s hands all over them. The nitty-gritty life decisions that scare us half to death- God hands them to us. Simply because He trusts us to make the right choice and even when we don’t, he isn’t phased, there is nothing we can do or choose that can destroy God’s ultimate amazing plan!
When you discover that you are free to make decisions with God and by yourself- your life looks like a road with endless opportunities. God is interested in what you are interested in. When your identity is fully encapsulated with God, Jesus and Holy Spirit- you cannot make wrong decisions. Even if they seem wrong in the natural, go for it- you have the mind of Christ. You know who you are! A son or daughter doesn’t make decisions that separate them from their father. Even if their decision wasn’t what their father originally intended!
A good father is one who celebrates a child stepping into adulthood. A good father reaches out their hand and walks beside his children while they make choices. A good father never rubs “bad” decisions in their child’s face. This is our God! Our God is a good father. He walks with us and trusts us enough to make our own decisions without fear of punishment.
There are times when there are consequences for our decisions but whether good or bad they never put any distance between the father and you. He just comes along side and says, “lets try again, what will you choose this time?”
