Seasons of growth
Don’t give up in the process. Everything has a season. Don't rush through it, the time will come for you to bloom.
Enjoy the process.
No matter what season you are in, there is always growth. There is always an important lesson to learn. Not all are easy but they are necessary.
During the fall, let old mindsets pass away. In the winter, hold on and store all the good things you have learned. This is a time to reset. In the spring, open yourself to new things. Let God’s life-giving presence flow through your veins and let new life spring up in you. And in the summer, it’s time to soak in all the goodness, and a time for big growth!
Each season is purposeful and beautiful! Each is there to help us grow and reach further than what was thought was unattainable in seasons prior.
Maturity may not happen in a day but having the joy in each season can.
Wherever you are, remember you have a purpose. Whoever you are with, remember they are loved and are placed with you to grow you, but you to show God’s to them as well. No matter how you feel, remember today can be the day of change.
God always has the best in store and loves you in each and every season. He sees your end from your beginning and can’t wait for you to discover the treasures in this season you are in. If you are having trouble in your season ask the Father for help, because he is the God in every season.
Rise up and live
“Take up your mat and walk”, “breathe life into these bones so they might live!” It is the time to rise up! God has freed us and now we have the freedom to live. No more lying in waiting, it’s time for a new life.
This life requires you to trust. Not to stand by the water but to walk on it. Not to stand in front of the mountain but to move it. Not to just see the sick but to heal it. Not to just see the problem but to find the solution to it. This is the best life!
Don’t be intimidated, be encouraged. The One who can make this happen lives in you. You are His Child! This is what you are created to do. It might take some time but you have everything already. You have the authority, the faith, the will-power, you have the royalty blood flowing through your veins to do these things. The whole world is open for you to see, to go into and bring God’s light one step at a time.
God spoke to Ezekiel in chapter 37 and told him “Say to these bones: I will make breath enter you and you will come to life”. When Ezekiel did so, muscles and skin attached to the bones. Then God told him to breathe life into them. When he did they came to life. This is the God within us who makes the impossible possible.
So now it’s our turn! Take that step on the water. Move the mountain, heal the sick, find creative answers to unsolvable problems!
This is the best life!
Imagine a child jumping into their father’s arm from the edge of the pool. Now imagine their face as their dad throws them up in the air and them knowing without a doubt that he will catch them. Such joy, such trust.
Why do they trust? They know their daddy won’t do anything to harm them. He has their best interest in mind. They know their daddy loves them.
How much more open were we to trust, to open our hearts, to live.
What a beautiful life we live when we again have this trust. But what happened… lies. ‘He doesn’t love you, you know better, he didn’t protect you.’
But are these true?
He was there. He is there. And he will always be there! He sees your beginning from the end. He saw your unformed body and knew everything about you. He was with you growing up and knows how he made you and loves everything about you. He always has your best interest in mind, the best, THE BEST!
Things happen yes, but does that mean that our God stops working? No never! He moves heaven and earth for you. He forgets your past, the mistakes. Each moment he sees you as brand new, just as he did in the beginning. You’re his beloved child, why would he not do everything for you.
Trust is a beautiful thing that grows in a close relationship. God hasn’t, won’t and will never abandon you, forget you, or ever stop loving you. We just need to learn to trust again.
God has an open invitation for each one of us. An invitation to take His hand to go to a special place. He knows our troubles and see’s our tears. He knows when we feel weighed down, and the times we may feel helpless. He knows our troubles and sorrows. He knows when we struggle and there He too shows up and say’s take my hand and let’s go to our special place, to our secret garden. Follow me to the wonderful waterfalls. Come with me and there you will find joy and an everlasting love that overflows.
It’s our special place. Come with me child and allow me to wipe your tears away. Let’s play in the stream. Let’s skip through the fields. In the garden we shall walk hand in hand.
Accept my invitation of relationship, for this is how I designed you to be. Allow yourself to be free, free in me. I will take your burdens, I will take your sorrows and tears. I will share a conversation with you.
In these places I will remind you that I shall take care of you, always. The things you share with me is with me alone. Allow me to take these burdens and wash you free.
Come my child, lay down your fears, your burdens and meet me in our secret place. And suddenly what you have been carrying on the inside will be free. Because what you are carrying matters and the process of our relationship is worth it.
